CEO and Carbon Specialist
With almost 20 years work experiences, Rita has been working on some prominent issues in natural resources management including climate change, carbon stock and greenhouse gas fluxes, biodiversity conservation and CITES implementation in Indonesia. She has collaborated with international organizations including Conservation International Indonesia (CI), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Bird Life-Indonesia (BI), Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO), Asia Forest Partnership Secretariat (AFP) and Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR). In 2017, she decided to work as independent consultant and has done several works for international organizations including Winrock and TNC Indonesia. During her tenure with CIFOR, she has published scientific journals and report. In addition to her master degree from Bogor Agricultural University, she attended certified courses including on Natural Resource Management (UC Berkeley, California, USA), Fundamental of Ecology and Ecosystem (Carry Research institute, New York, USA), Project Management (CIFOR), Carbon Stock Assessment (CIFOR), Scientific Writing (CIFOR) and·Forest Fire Prevention Training (SLU, Umea, Sweden).
Carbon Specialist
Dr. Fitri has been working extensively in climate and ecology for the past 20 years. She completed her PhD in Aberden University (UK) in 2016 where she examines the impact of land uses change on greenhouse emission including Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4) and Nitrous Oxide (N2O) emission. She obtained her master from Brawijaya University and Bachelor from Bogor Agricultutural University both on soil and water management. Her key expertise includes field-based research in ecology, biodiversity, land-use change, climate change mitigation and adaptation, soil gas fluxes, environmental biology, forestry, soil science, peatland restoration. Her works have been published at national and international journals. She was the member of European Geoscience Union in 2017-2018 and Indonesian and UK networks of Tropical Forest Biodiversity and Carbon storage.
